About this swimming hole
A legendary slot-canyon hot spring on the Arizona side of the Colorado River below Hoover Dam, reached by boat or a steep 6-mile round-trip hike. Scalding spring water cascades into pools and pours over the canyon wall into the cold river, giving a natural hot-cold plunge. The hike is strenuous with a big elevation swing; carry far more water than seems reasonable.
