What we collect

Swimming Holes USA does not require accounts, and we do not ask for your name, email, or any personal details to browse the site. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send — we use it only to reply and to correct listings.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TFBCJBVCXX) to understand aggregate traffic: which pages are popular, roughly where visitors come from, and how they found us. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga) to distinguish visits. Google may process this data under its own privacy policy. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not merge analytics data with any personal information.

Our first-party pageview counter

We also run our own lightweight pageview counter. It sets no cookies and stores no personal data — it records only anonymous daily totals (which pages were viewed, the referring site, and device type), shown publicly on our analytics page.
