About this swimming hole

Jewel of the Creek Preserve protects a rare perennial stretch of Cave Creek with cottonwood-lined pools. The easy loop trail leads to shaded wading spots beneath the desert foothills. It is one of the last free-flowing desert streams in the Phoenix area.
