Stone Lagoon is a glassy coastal lagoon in Humboldt Lagoons State Park, warmer and calmer than the ocean just over the spit. Kayakers and swimmers share the still, tea-colored water ringed by forested hills. It is a peaceful alternative when the coast is fogged in and the rivers are running cold.
