About this swimming hole
A small, kid-friendly beach sits on the 40-acre manmade lake at Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Park, three miles north of Lena near the Wisconsin line. The park's own listing says the beach opens daily 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Memorial Day through Labor Day, with no lifeguards and no alcohol allowed. Only electric motors are allowed on the lake, keeping the water calm. The 715-acre park also offers 8.5 miles of trails, two campgrounds, and a children's fishing pond.
