Deep Creek Waterfall at Pillsbury Crossing runs 60 feet wide and 5 feet high over flat limestone, a few miles southeast of Manhattan. The low-water river crossing and falls base are a beloved local wading spot in the northern Flint Hills. Sitting on the rocks by the falls on a spring day is one of Kansas's prettiest outings.
