Moxie Falls

Waterfall · Maine

About this swimming hole

One of Maine's tallest waterfalls, Moxie Falls drops nearly 90 feet in a single vertical plunge on Moxie Stream between Moxie Pond and the Kennebec River. An easy roughly 1-mile trail leads to viewing platforms, with swimming pools upstream of the falls and about 100 feet downstream of the main plunge. Reaching the lower pools requires a steep, difficult scramble down the gorge wall.
