About this swimming hole
Rocky Falls pours over a sloping wall of ancient volcanic rock into a big, calm swimming hole on Rocky Creek. Visitors climb the ledges and small shoots above, sometimes finding natural waterslides when the flow is right. It is smaller and wilder-feeling than Johnson's Shut-Ins, in the heart of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways.
