DEC’s Caroga Lake Campground on East Caroga Lake has a sandy swimming beach with a bathhouse, hot showers, and picnic area beside 105 campsites. The beach is one of the southern Adirondacks’ most established public swim spots, dating to the campground’s 1929 opening. Day use is open to the public in summer; the beach swims when lifeguards are on duty.
