About this swimming hole
The Mirror Lake Beach at 31 Parkside Drive is the only public swimming beach on Mirror Lake, operated by the Town of North Elba for the Village of Lake Placid. For summer 2026 it runs June 27 through September 6, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with swimming only when certified lifeguards are on duty. The spring-fed, 124-acre lake has tested consistently clean under the town’s voluntary water-quality program.
