Ontario Beach Park is Monroe County’s public beach on Lake Ontario in Rochester, with one of the Great Lakes’ best natural sand beaches. For 2026 the county posted swimming June 26 through September 7 (Labor Day), 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily, with a beach information line for conditions. The 39-acre park adds the 1905 Dentzel carousel, pier, and concert series.
