About this swimming hole
A sandy beach on the Neuse River inside the Croatan National Forest's Neuse River Recreation Area, locally known as Flanners Beach. The designated swim area runs 1 to 3 feet deep for at least 25 yards out, with almost no current, making it ideal for kids. A full-service campground and picnic grounds sit just above the beach.
