Presque Isle State Park - Guarded Beaches

Lake · Pennsylvania

About this swimming hole

Presque Isle's 13 designated Lake Erie beaches are the park's only legal swimming areas; elsewhere along the shoreline, swimming is prohibited and wading is limited to knee-deep within ten feet of shore. Guarded beaches run Memorial Day to Labor Day with lifeguards on duty during posted hours. Individual beaches can close for water-quality advisories, including recurring E. coli issues at Beach 11, so check current postings before visiting.
