About this swimming hole
East Lynn Lake is a 1,005-acre U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir on the East Fork of Twelvepole Creek, 12 miles long with 44 miles of shoreline. WVU's DIY Outdoors describes the winding lake as a place to boat, fish and swim, and the Corps master plan places a swimming beach in the East Fork Area alongside the East Fork Campground and boat launch, in a designated no-wake zone. The East Fork Campground has 154 campsites spread along the lakefront.
