About this swimming hole
Sturtevant Falls is a 60-foot curtain waterfall in Big Santa Anita Canyon, reached by a shaded 3.5-mile trail from Chantry Flat. The pool at its base is shallow but swimmable, and the fern-draped canyon feels a world away from the city. It is one of the San Gabriels' most beloved waterfall hikes.
