About this swimming hole

Green Valley State Park is built around a 390-acre lake just north of Creston in southwest Iowa, one of four lakes within 10 miles of each other. A sandy swimming beach draws hundreds of visitors on hot summer days, for both kids and adults. Boats must operate at no-wake speeds, and a 6.5-mile paved multi-use trail runs along the east and south sides of the lake.
