Lake Anita's beach comes with a sand volleyball court and a playground in the campground, on a 170-acre southwest Iowa lake. A four-mile paved trail loops the entire lake through restored prairie and timber, and movies play in the campground on summer Saturday nights. It is the classic small state park swim, made for campers who want the water steps from their site.
