About this swimming hole
One of the most photographed waterfalls in North Carolina, a 60-foot curtain on Looking Glass Creek visible right from US 276. A staircase leads down to the base pool, where swimmers cool off in the cold mountain water. Its roadside location makes it the busiest waterfall swim spot in Pisgah National Forest.
