A 45-foot cascade on Courthouse Creek in Pisgah National Forest that drops into a deep, clear plunge pool popular with local swimmers. Reached by a short, easy trail off Forest Road 140, it feels remote despite the easy access. The pool is cold year-round and surrounded by rhododendron and old-growth hardwoods.
