About this swimming hole

The best-known waterfall in Panthertown Valley, an 18-foot cascade on Greenland Creek that drops into a flat, sandy-bottomed pool. The pool has both a large shallow area and a smaller deep section with a gentle current, ideal for cooling off. The 2.5-mile round-trip hike from Cold Mountain Gap is moderate and family-doable.
