About this swimming hole
A deep pool on the West Fork of the Pigeon River below Sunburst Falls, just off NC 215 in Pisgah National Forest. The pool is a classic roadside swim hole with cold, clear water and room to spread out on the rocks. It is a popular stop for drivers crossing the Parkway between Canton and the Blue Ridge.
