About this swimming hole
Jamestown Reservoir is Stutsman County's largest public use area, with 2,095 surface acres and 45 miles of shoreline, and it has two swimming beaches. Lakeside Campground, two miles north of Jamestown on US Highway 20, and Pelican Point Landing, six miles north on US 52/281, both have swimming beaches along with campgrounds, RV hookups, showers, playgrounds, fishing piers, and boat ramps. The east side of the park also has over two miles of asphalt trails for walking and biking.
